About the opportunity
As the Training Coordinator, Lived Experience Workforce, you will lead the coordination, promotion and delivery of Lived and Living Experience training, namely the Hearing Voices Approach training. This will be delivered to a range of professionals (including mental health practitioners and peer workers) as well as to carers, voice hearers and their loved ones.
This role will supervise and support a small team of trainers to build their capacity in delivering this training. This role will also engage with internal staff – including the award-winning Voices Vic program – to continue to develop this high-quality training.

About you
You have a Tertiary qualification in Psychology, Social Work, Occupational Therapy, or other health related discipline (minimum Certificate IV in Mental Health / Peer Work) as well as a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.
You will also bring:
- Experience in training facilitation and coordination.
- Lived or living experience as a consumer of mental health services.
- In depth understanding of supporting people with mental health challenges.
- Relevant experience in a human services, welfare, or social services role.
- Demonstrated staff supervision and leadership skills and ability to deal with challenging and complex issues.
