About the Program:
The Centre for Excellence in Therapeutic Care (CETC), a division of ACF, is on the lookout for a passionate and innovative Training Course Coordinator to lead the charge in delivering accredited and unaccredited courses and training programs designed to make a significant impact on children and young people’s lives.
In this pivotal role, you’ll join a dedicated virtual team and collaborate closely with an array of stakeholders within the Australian Childhood Foundation’s vast network.
What You Will Do:
- Course Coordination: Lead end-to-end coordination of accredited qualifications, ensuring the seamless delivery of online and blended courses tailored for the child and youth sector. Innovate and refine training and assessment materials, maintaining alignment with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Course Delivery: Embrace and utilise digital e-learning platforms to deliver and assess training that meets all compliance and regulatory standards. Offer support to participants throughout their learning journey, addressing any language, literacy, and numeracy needs.
- Student Support and Assessment: Provide comprehensive academic support, conduct online assessments, and offer constructive feedback to foster student success.
- Continuous Improvement: Engage in professional development to stay at the forefront of VET knowledge and industry trends, contributing to the organisation’s continuous improvement efforts.
Key Selection Criteria
- Training and Assessment Credentials: Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116) or equivalent, meeting RTO trainer and assessor standards.
- Industry Vocational Experience: Demonstrated ability in delivering vocational education and training programs within the child, youth, and family sector, including youth justice.
- Industry Currency and Equivalency: Relevant qualifications and experience in the child, youth and family sector. Preferable experience working with children and families who have been impacted by trauma.
- Supportive Educator: Demonstrated experience in catering to students with additional support needs in a digital environment.
- Digital Proficiency: Experience with online learning platforms (e.g., Moodle, BlackBoard), student management systems and adeptness with Excel and reporting processes.
- Communication and Collaboration: Exceptional interpersonal and organisational skills with a track record of effective stakeholder engagement.
- Adaptability: Ability to work flexibly and responsively in a dynamic virtual/remote environment. Capacity to attend an ACF office when required and availability to travel for meetings and teaching activities.
- Licenses and Checks: A current Australian driver’s license and Working with Children Check or equivalent.
