To assist in actualizing our mission, we seek candidates for the position of Training Resource Center Assistant Director. This position will assist the Director of Centers and Labs and other appropriate College of Social Work (CoSW) Administrators and Principal Investigators (PIs) in the overall management and administration of programs and projects housed at the Training Resource Center (TRC).
This position is responsible for the management and oversight of the daily activities of multiple programs and projects to ensure contract and strategic plan goals and objectives are met. The TRC Assistant Director position is also responsible for the analysis of effectiveness and efficiencies related to programmatic outcomes, as well as establishing functional policies and procedures. The position provides supervision and direction to program coordinators and support staff as well as serves as a liaison between PIs, the Director of Centers and Labs, CoSW Administration, and community partners and funders.
Other essential functions include planning, directing and reporting the activities of multiple programs administered by the TRC, developing and implementing data collection and reporting plans, serving as part of the TRC’s leadership team, advising and directing program staff in relation to program budgets, establishing programmatic goals and measures to evaluate programmatic success, and ensuring all program and activities comply with university, state, federal, and sponsor regulations and guidelines.
This position is located at the Lexington, KY Coldstream Research Campus.
Skills / Knowledge / Abilities Masters degree in behavioral health/social science/management field and 5+ years of administrative leadership experience

Preferred Education/Experience Excellent leadership and administration skills; Experience leading and working with diverse groups and multiple stakeholders; Knowledge of the child welfare system and/or experience working with families in need; Ability to problem solve and use data/evidence to inform decision making; Experience with grants and funded projects; Demonstrated success in program planning, goal setting, and measuring outcome success; Experience supervising multiple personnel
Driver’s license preferred.
