About the Position:
The Office of the Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs plans and manages all academic and instructional resources that support the teaching, scholarship, and research mission of Cal State Fullerton. The office strives to serve as a central resource for the campus community, ensuring quality academic programming and fostering partnerships with both internal and external stakeholders to promote and support faculty and student success. The Office of the Provost achieves this by empowering faculty, staff, administrators, and students with the knowledge and support necessary so that we can each carry out our individual roles in fulfilling our university’s mission. We are seeking an exceptional individual to join our Office of the Registrar team as the Transfer Credits and Articulation Assistant (Administrative Analyst/Specialist-Non-Exempt). Under the general direction of the Assistant Registrar and Articulation Analyst, the Transfer Credits and Articulation Assistant is the first point of contact for all issues regarding articulation. This position supports the initiation, development, and management of course articulation, credit for system-wide external exams and the ASSIST, an intersegmental computerized articulation and transfer planning system, and CollegeSource Transfer Equivalency System (TES) databases. Maintains all college articulation information and transfer credit agreements, including the Intersegmental General Education Transfer Curriculum (IGETC), California State University General Education Breadth (CSU GEB), Associate Degree for Transfer (ADT, or SB 1440) and other state-wide transfer agreement programs. Assists faculty-approved articulation agreements and course equivalencies between higher education institutions. Maintains articulation rules, external exam credits tables up to date; trouble-shoot and clean up Transfer Articulation (TA) table. Coordinates with the Assistant Registrar, the Articulation Analyst and Titan degree Audit Support Services Unit to ensure accurate entry of articulated course information in the campus degree audit (uAchieve). Maintains thorough knowledge of policies, procedures, and applicable laws to disseminate current and accurate articulation information to faculty, campus academic units, advisors/counselors, students, and the public. Review annual curriculum changes from CSUF, and other CCCs and modify rules in the TA table. Other duties as assigned.
