Context

Within this task IOM Kazakhstan Immigration and Border Governance Unit is aiming to use the translated migration related video material developed by the Government of the Kazakhstan within the scope of project activities implementation. The selected Online Volunteers will have the opportunity to build connections with the Immigration and Border Governance Unit (IBG) members at IOM in Kazakhstan and learn about the Organisation’s activities in the migration field.

Task description

IOM Kazakhstan IBG unit is looking for two Online Volunteers to support with translating and adding subtitles for the video material on migration from Russian language to English language. To this end the Online Volunteers are asked:
– To translate the 10 minutes long video material into English language;
– To Put time codes of the translated text in English (in order to put subtitles in the future).
– To add the translation in the form of subtitles into the video material;
– Ensure the translation is concise, in line with IOM’s communications/terminology guidelines, and fits the audience.
The selected Online Volunteers will be provided with the video material in the original language and will receive guidance on the communications/terminology guidelines as well as other guidance as needed.
