Your Opportunity
We are looking for a translator (English to French) to join our Translation and Linguistic Services team in the Montreal office. The successful candidate will own the following responsibilities:
- Translate various Accounting and Assurance documents
- Translate various Tax articles and reports for Advisory Services
- Translate service offers and documents for Marketing, Human Resources, Payroll, etc.
- Provide linguistic advice
- Conduct terminology research
- Understand and follow the firm’s work methods and terminology to ensure consistent quality of translations
- Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned

Experience and Education
- You hold a degree in Translation
- Practical translation experience (minimum of five years’ experience required), in the financial or accounting sector (an asset)
- Project management skills
- Strong knowledge of computer-assisted translation software (SDL Trados Studio) and terminology databases
- Bilingual (French and English, both written and spoken)
- Knowledge of Accounting and Assurance terminology currently used by members of the profession and CPA Canada (an asset)
- Professional with a strong emphasis on teamwork and client service
- Member of OTTIAQ (an asset)
