Translator

The Olive Branch Organization is an independent, not-for-profit organization dedicated to promoting community development and economic empowerment. Its mission is to empower community members, enabling them to overcome challenges and invest their resources creatively.

The aim of this activity is to support the economy in Yayladağı, where many families without income cannot make ends meet, as well as to create a source of income for families affected by the earthquake so that they can rebuild their lives.

1. Main Goals of Education:

• Proficiency in both Turkish and Arabic languages.
• Previous experience in providing translation and interpretation services, preferably in a training or educational setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to convey technical information accurately and clearly in both languages.

The translator will be responsible for the following tasks:

• Providing simultaneous interpretation during training sessions to facilitate communication between the trainer and participants.
• Clarifying and translating training materials, instructions, and discussions between Turkish and Arabic speakers.
• Ensuring all participants have equal access to information and can actively participate in training activities.

The translator will be required to facilitate communication during the following training sessions:

• Session 1: Cybersecurity Awareness and Digital Well-being
• Session 2: Introduction to AI and its tools
• Session 3: Introduction to Video Production
• Session 4: Equipment-Free Sports and Fitness Techniques
• Session 5: Innovative & Healthy Cooking
• Session 6: Gardening & Flowering Techniques
• Deliverables
• Clear and accurate interpretation between Turkish and Arabic speakers during training sessions.
• Assistance in translating written materials or documents related to the training sessions, if needed.
