This is a diverse role which will enable a proven Design Manager to engage in highly technical projects, while leading and mentoring a team of professional engineers in a multidisciplinary, global engineering consultancy.

Job Description

What will a day in this role look like:

• Lead engagement with our key clients, developing relationships and understanding clients needs

• Drive operations and processes within a multidisciplinary consulting engineering environment

• Being the escalation point for T&D technical design teams on multidisciplinary projects, driving solution across our major clients

• Providing the opportunity to manage a small team of designers (if desirable)

Qualifications

What are we looking for from you?

• Technical experience in substations, transmission lines or distribution systems using Australian standards.

• A desire to mentor and/or lead a team

• Strong communication skills with the ability to adapt communication styles according to audience and situation.

• Previous experience in consulting or utilities

• An Engineering degree with 10+ years’ experience. RPV (desirable)
