We are currently in search of a “Regional Transparency and Accountability Advisor” to join our team.
Job Overview:
We are in search of a seasoned Regional Transparency and Accountability Advisor with extensive experience in transparency, accountability, anti-corruption, and enhancing integrity. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in working across several Arab countries in the Middle East and possess a deep understanding of the political and social contexts within these regions. This role requires someone with a strategic mind, capable of providing expert advice and guidance to our client’s founding team and assisting in the development and implementation of their strategic plan and program schemes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert advice and guidance on the strategic planning and program scheme related to transparency, accountability, anti-corruption, and integrity.
- Conduct stakeholder mapping and analysis of international and regional organizations interested in supporting such programs in the Middle East.
- Facilitate communication with major donors and key international actors to secure support and funding for programs.
- Assist in developing concept notes and strategic documents for program implementation and donor engagement.
- Understand and navigate the mapping and dynamics of major donors interested in the Middle East/Arab countries.
Requirements:
- Mandatory – Proven experience, not less than 10 years – three of them in a lead position with a NGO/INGO, working in the field of transparency, accountability, anti-corruption, and enhancing integrity, specifically within several Arab countries in the Middle East.
- Comprehensive understanding of the political and social context of Middle Eastern countries.
- Demonstrated ability in stakeholder mapping, analysis, and engagement with major donors and international actors.
- Experience in developing strategic plans, program schemes, and concept notes for NGOs.
- Fluent in English and/or Arabic is mandatory.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and strategic thinking skills.
- Ability to work remotely.
