Experience in any of local transport plans, active travel, electric vehicles, transport modelling, transport decarbonisation and policy development are a plus.Although this is a consultancy role, we aim to provide extensive flexibility, enjoyment and fulfilment to our roles, to support the growth of our team members and organisation. We provide an environment where people feel valued and supported in their career progression including providing significant opportunities to work across a wide variety of exciting projects in our consultancy business.ABOUT THE ROLEDue to recent significant growth and strategic project wins, we are currently recruiting for a Transport Consultant to join our team. We are seeking a unique individual who understands the need to do things differently and shares our passion for decarbonisation.The successful candidate will have the opportunity to support a wider project team deliver larger projects and additionally manage delivery of smaller to medium size projects. Key responsibilities will include leading delivery of and contributing to technical reports (as required), overseeing tasks undertaken by more junior staff, facilitating stakeholder engagement, and coordinating data analysis tasks. You will also work with our wider consultancy team, including the opportunity to work across a variety of projects spanning transport, energy, sustainability, and carbon accounting; should you wish.There is also an opportunity to support the management team in upscaling the business such as streamlining our day-to-day processes to improve our efficiency; such as improving our collaborative business functions (e.g. reporting templates) and providing input to enhance our digital tools like Cadence: .You will support the continued growth of our business, through delivering upon our team’s wider commercial targets; such as through identifying future opportunities and delivering high quality tender responses. We will also provide the opportunity to attend and present at key industry wide transport and decarbonisation-focused national conferences.Key Responsibilities:· Project Manager on one or two small or medium sized projects, with strategic support provided from a Project Director

Desirable:· An MSc or post-degree qualification in a transport or sustainability related field
