Our premier customer service and full-service solutions enable clients to focus on what matters most innovation.Position SummaryDue to continued growth, World Courier is recruiting for a Transport Controller to join our busy Operations team, based in our Feltham Office.You will be responsible for coordinating a fleet of drivers to make collections and deliveries of time and temperature sensitive consignments across the UK.The successful candidate must hold a high level of concentration and attention to detail and the ability to understand and distribute varied information during critical and pressurised times. The role would dictate a flexible approach to both working hours and the candidate must have the ability to interact with associates at all levels.With our expertise in specialty , we deliver advanced medical courier services. We cater to pharma companies globally, ensuring seamless transportation of critical healthcare products.Specializing in global biopharma logistics, we are a medical courier with worldwide capabilities. Our goal is to ensure seamless medical delivery of biopharmaceutical products worldwide. With a focus on temperature-controlled solutions, we offer secure and efficient transportation solutions for vital medications, vaccines, and research samples.Shift – Monday – Friday, 8.5 hours per day (including lunch break) between 0400 – 2200 rotating weeklyWeekend coverage as required (paid as overtime)Primary Duties and Responsibilities

• Allocations of collections and deliveries to the UK driving team – arranging the transport of time critical and temperature controlled pharmaceutical shipments
• Route planning as efficiently as possible, as well as arranging ad-hoc changes as required
• Communicating to drivers the relevant information appropriate to the consignment
• Preparation of Specialist packaging and temperature controlled consignments
• Refurbishment of packaging and general warehouse duties
• Downloading and processing of temperature control data

.Candidate Requirements

• At least 3 years of driver dispatch/controlling/transport planning experience
• Previous experience in freight or courier industry preferred – ideally working with temperature controlled, time sensitive deliveries such as pharmaceuticals
• Extensive knowledge of the London and home countries, with a good general knowledge of the UK road network
• Adaptable and able to perform under pressure
• Well-developed prioritisation skills
• Strong verbal and written communication
• Excellent problem-solving skills
