Key ResponsibilitiesPlan and coordinate transportation schedules and routes to meet delivery deadlines.Work closely with drivers, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure effective communication and execution.Maintain accurate documentation including shipment records, invoices, and delivery confirmations.Monitor and manage transportation budgets and operational costs.Support stock control of trays, boxes, and pallets.Coordinate import and export documentation, particularly for fruit and plant deliveries.Oversee vehicle maintenance and ensure compliance with relevant safety standards.Assist with cash sales, customer service, and operational issue resolution.Complete reports and administrative tasks as required by the Supply Chain & Technical Manager.RequirementsProven experience in a similar transport or logistics coordination role.Strong understanding of transport regulations and logistics processes.Excellent organisational and time management skills.Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.Confident communication skills, both written and verbal.Comfortable working independently and as part of a team across departments.Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.Familiarity with transport management systems is an advantage.WR Engineering are the #1 recruitment partner for engineering, manufacturing & technical sales jobs.
