Our Supply Chain & Warehousing team which is part of the wider Marine Logistics & Supply Chain department is recruiting a Transportation, Logistics & Customs Manager managing the current and future supply chain for major components, spares and consumables within RWE Offshore Operations. In this role you will be required to organise the distribution of large components to and from various port and storage locations and develop & coordinate the customs clearance processes for major components, spares and consumables.

Your future plans:

  • Coordinate and oversee land logistics to and from JUV & Fleet SOV with 3rd party logistics providers.
  • Support the development and review of logistical concepts for JUV campaigns and Fleet servicing campaigns.
  • Lead the development and establishment of required customs relevant data to support proforma invoicing.
  • Execution of customs and export control related tasks for JUV campaigns & fleet SOV campaigns.
  • Responsible for sanctions list screening, dual use checks, US re export.
  • Responsible person for compliance with EU and foreign regulations governing the shipment & receipt of major components, major component related tooling & Service kits.
  • Contact person for questions in the field of foreign trade and customs.
  • Coordinate & oversee customs clearance for import & export of major components, tooling for JUV campaigns & Service kits for the fleet SOV campaigns.

Your profile:

  • Qualification in Logistics, commercial law or equivalent qualifications.
  • Offshore or onshore wind background beneficial
  • Strong knowledge of international trade, customs, trade compliance, tariff classification, logistics and transportation.
  • Strong knowledge of customs regulations and processes.
  • Knowledge and understanding of SAP processes.
  • Strong knowledge of Incoterms.
  • Documented evidence of previous implementation of customs import / export processes.
  • Proven understanding of EU/UK and US export control regulations.
