Position Summary:An experienced .Net Developer to develop and maintain business applications and system integrations within an Agile team of 5-8 people.To maintain and develop high quality code to produce functional software applications to fulfil the specified requirements.The role should be 90% hands on delivery of user stories. Functional Knowledge:
- 2+ years of experience developing in C# and the Microsoft .NET eco-system.
- TDD (MSTest/Nunit)
- Web API, JSON, REST
- B2B Integrations
- GIT, Azure DevOps
Nice to have:
- Agile: SCRUM/Kanban
- Azure Cloud: Durable Functions, API’s
- SQL Server: SQL, Stored Procedures
- Swagger, Postman
- Angular, Typescript, HTML
General Background, Experience & Professional Qualifications:
- At least 2 years practical experience as a .NET Programmer using the technologies highlighted.
- Background in programming fundamentals.
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
- Good written and oral communication skills.
- Experience of working in a remote team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Undertake programming tasks of designing, prototyping, coding, maintaining, and testing with some supervision/help from more experienced members.
- Translate internal business requirements into technical requirements, in conjunction with specialist business analysts.
- Write and maintain technical documentation.
- Apply quality and performance design principals.
- Consider existing code structure and conventions to make sound programmatic decisions.
- Perform unit testing.
- Provide succinct updates on progress.
- Be able to give estimates for the time required and deliver accordingly.
- To work with testers to ensure new functionality is working to specification.
- Work closely with your team across locations.
- Requirement to travel to Birmingham every 6 weeks for meetings
