Mission and objectives

The Frontier Tech Leaders Programme is a joint initiative of UNDP Istanbul International Center for Private Sector in Development (ICPSD) SDG AI Lab and UN Technology Bank for Least Developed Countries and supported by the Government of Türkiye. The Frontier Tech Leaders Programme aims to raise a new generation of tech specialists to strengthen local capacities and develop digital solutions for the LDCs (Least Developed Countries) towards achieving the SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals). Furthermore, the initiative will inspire young people as well as promote gender equality, encouraging women to pursue tech education and careers.

Context

Frontier Tech Leaders Programme launches Ethiopia Machine Learning Bootcamp in February 2025. The volunteer is expected to deliver minimum 8 live lectures(online) on Data Science. The materials for Machine Learning are present.

Task Description

The Volunteer is expected to: -Conduct minimum 8 live lectures(online) Data Science. -Get prepared for the live sessions according to provided material by the team. -Improve the existing material. -Possess advanced knowledge of Python, Machine Learning and Data Science to effectively convey complex concepts. -Demonstrate practical skills through live coding sessions. -Provide a pre-recorded demo before the sessions if needed). -Dedicate sufficient time for preparation, teaching, and interaction with students (Evening sessions during the weekdays and morning sessions on the weekend)
