This is supported by our Diversity, Community and Environment Employee Engagement Networks and our commitment to the Women in Finance Charter and Women in Leadership Programme.What you will be doingIn this role, you will have the opportunity to provide a high level of customer service to all internal and external customers whilst maintaining quality with assessment of key underwriting and completions documents.You will be responsible for key stakeholder management of inbound and outbound calls with brokers and solicitors as well as driving pipeline chasing from full application to completion.Your responsibilities will include…
- Providing a consistently high quality of customer service to both external and internal customers whilst managing inbound and outbound calls with brokers and solicitors as well as driving pipeline chasing from full application to completion.
- Ensure that all enquiries and complex queries relating to Underwriting and Completions are dealt with promptly, efficiently and in accordance with the Bank’s service standards, policies and procedures and the UK Finance Mortgage Lenders Handbook for Conveyancers.
- Assess mortgage application & post offer documents and Process Certificate of Titles in line with the Bank’s policy and standards.
- Manage escalation calls from mortgage intermediaries and Solicitors.
- Liaise with underwriters and legal where necessary on complex policy decisions.
- Provide referral/ recommendations to Underwriters for offer approvals with rationale support.
- Identify any potentially fraudulent activity and escalate any concerns to Management or the appropriate person in line with procedure.
In return for your commitmentWe offer a base salary dependent on experience of between £24,000 – £25,000 and a competitive benefits package including:
- Discretionary annual bonus opportunity of up to 12.5%

- Previous customer services experience within a regulated environment (financial services, banking or utilities
- Strong knowledge in stakeholder management, hitting KPI’s and some experience of underwriting and completion documents (desirable)
