Mission and objectives

The Frontier Tech Leaders Programme is a joint initiative of UNDP Istanbul International Center for Private Sector in Development (ICPSD) SDG AI Lab and UN Technology Bank for Least Developed Countries and supported by the Government of Türkiye. The Frontier Tech Leaders Programme aims to raise a new generation of tech specialists to strengthen local capacities and develop digital solutions for the LDCs (Least Developed Countries) towards achieving the SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals). Furthermore, the initiative will inspire young people as well as promote gender equality, encouraging women to pursue tech education and careers.

Context

Frontier Tech Leaders Programme launched another cohort of Machine Learning Bootcamp. We are seeking to engage qualified and experienced Online Volunteers who are expected to deliver a session that helps participants effectively market themselves, prepare for job interviews, and develop a compelling professional profile. They are expected to develop comprehensive and up to date content, and also answer the questions of the students during live session.

Task Description

The Online Volunteers are expected to support in: – Designing and developing training curricula, course materials, and educational resources focused on interview preparation and profile development. – Providing personalized coaching and feedback to participants on their resumes, cover letters, LinkedIn profiles, and overall professional branding. (1 session) – Conducting mock interviews and offer constructive feedback to help participants improve their interview skills and confidence. (1 session) – Offering guidance on job search strategies, networking techniques, and leveraging personal and professional connections. – Ensuring the content is up-to-date, relevant, and aligned with current industry trends and best practices. – Facilitating an engaging and interactive training session, adapting delivery methods to suit diverse learning styles.
