Introduction :

Scope of Work: 

UNDP requires the services of a firm/organization with considerable experience in providing green skills training. The firm/organization will be required to train 1200 young people including 600 young women, ensuring 50% female participation. The activities that the firm/organization is expected to undertake are as follows:

 1. Identify a potential pool of youth between the age of 18- and 35-years including women from different cohorts through an outreach programme.

2. The firm/organization will ensure particular focus on inclusion of women in youth trainings and ensure at least 50% representation.

3. The trainings will be executed in 24 sessions, with approximately 50 participants per session.

4. The green skill trainings will be provided as per the specific needs of the local communities in selected districts of Interior Sindh; Dado, Larkana, Mirpur Khas, Tando Allahyar

5. The firm/organization will provide training in the respective geographical area from the following list:

a.             Beekeeping, honey extraction, packaging and marketing

b.             Indigenous water harvesting techniques

c.             Fuel-efficient cooking practices and solutions

d.             Vegetable/Fruit Dehydration techniques and best practices

e.             Organic farming/ Off-season tunnel farming/ Kitchen gardening

f.              E-commerce and digital marketing skills training
