Passcode: 121718 ————————————————————————————————————— The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) SELP, under the project is implementing Safe Digital Environment Project (SDEP) to address issues with regards to irresponsible digital engagement including hate full content, misinformation, and disinformation. The SDEP aims to achieve this by engaging key government bodies, legal fraternities, and educational institutions, improving civil society’s work on fact-checking, and building capacity with a focus on government officials and youth. The initiative seeks to create responsible digital media interaction. The project’s aim is to create a resilient and responsible digital environment, emphasizing critical thinking and ethical engagement. UNDP recognizes, online disinformation and misinformation are rampant issues in Pakistan, significantly impacting public perception and societal harmony. Despite the prevalence of these problems, the public rarely engages in verification of information they encounter on social media. The SELP project has therefore embarked on developing a comprehensive Behavioural Change Communication (BCC) Strategy campaign that will utilize direct and embedded messaging strategies to inform and sensitize the public on the mechanisms of online disinformation, methods for identifying it, and the importance of critical thinking in consuming social media news. Based on the BCC strategy developed, UNDP is seeking professional services of an Audio/Visual Podcast Development Firm to produce a sequence of evidence-based podcasts to generate a public awareness and public discourse around the need for responsibly engaging on digital mediums. Scope of Work: The firm engaged will undertake guidance from the BCC strategy developed and develop a series of podcast content and variations developed for publishing on digital media platforms. The firm will develop regularly scheduled podcast series on the subject matter.
