On Behalf of United Nations in Nepal, UN is looking for the services of an entity to manage the Joint UN Trainee Programme. The Joint UN Trainee Programme for Socially Excluded Groups is one of the numbers of concrete initiatives launched by the UN Country Team to implement its commitment to greater workforce diversity. The goal of the programme is to provide capacity building and professional training to young individuals with a particular focus on those from Nepal’s socially excluded groups. The Trainee Programme is targeted to youth from socially excluded groups1, who are university graduates (with minimum qualification of Bachelors). In order to enhance the employability of potential candidates’, trainees will participate in an 11-month, full-time programme. The main target candidates for the programme are recent graduates (i.e. within few years after graduation) rather than registered full time university students.
