1– Scientific Advisory Panel Coordination and Governance Requests • Coordinate the CCAC Scientific Advisory Panel (SAP) and the delivery of their workplan and outputs. Including the planning and facilitation of meetings, coordinating the production Chair’s summaries and acting as Secretariat focal point for day-to-day liaison with SAP members and the SAP Chair. • Coordinate and contribute to the development of scientific materials for CCAC Board meetings including the preparation of Board papers, ministerial and Board presentations • Contribute to strategic initiatives and special projects to advance super pollutant science. • As appropriate, feed into donor reporting and contribute to advancing science strategies approved by the Board. 2– Delivery of Super Pollutant Science Products and Analysis • Coordinate the development, maintenance, and analytical use of strategic tools and databases, primarily the CCAC’s NDC database, and be accountable for the delivery of related technical products and partner engagement. • Project management o f flagship scientific assessments and publications tracking delivery including in support of UNEP publications requirements. • Support the development of science products including assessments, guidance documents, science briefs and other research by acting as an expert reviewer, identifying potential topics of interest and ensuring alignment with CCAC’s strategies. 3– Strengthen the Science-Policy Interface • As appropriate, coordinate the CCAC’s engagement in key multilateral science to policy processes. • Contribute to developing and managing the science-policy interface for the CCAC, including the design and delivery of Science-Policy Dialogues (SPDs) at CCAC Annual Meetings with input from the SAP. • Support and strengthen science outreach and stakeholder engagement [including strategic collaboration with scientific bodies, and advocacy partners to advance the visibility and uptake of SLCP science.] • Provide scientific review and quality assurance of CCAC communications and technical materials, ensuring scientific accuracy, clarity, and alignment with CCAC messaging. 4– Other ad hoc duties as required • Contribute to internal Secretariat processes as required
