Duties and Responsibilities
The Unarmed Guard Supervisor will: • Supervise day-to-day deployment and attendance of guards across all shifts. • Coordinate shift schedules and replacements to ensure 24/7 coverage. • Conduct briefings, inspections, and drills with guard personnel. • Validate and consolidate daily occurrence books, patrol logs, and incident reports. • Monitor guard conduct, appearance, and professionalism, and report misconduct to the FSCO. • Serve as the primary liaison with UN Security for operational guidance and incident escalation. • Oversee guard responses during fire alarms, evacuations, and emergencies. • Ensure all equipment (CCTV, radios, screening tools) is functional and reported for maintenance as needed. • Train guards on access control, emergency protocols, and client-service orientation.
Qualifications/special skills
High school diploma or equivalent required. Minimum of 3 years of experience in private or institutional security, preferably with international organizations or diplomatic missions is required. Proven ability to lead teams and handle operational logistics is required. Knowledge of UN or international organization security procedures. is required. Proficient in report writing, shift planning, and basic IT tools is required. Training in First Aid, fire response, or crisis management is desirable.
Languages
Fluency in Arabic is required; working knowledge of English or French is required.
