The Role:

 

In recent times, we’ve made some really positive changes to improve digital user experience, and we are now looking for someone to join our busy team for an initial 12 months, to oversee the day to day execution and continuous improvement of user experience across Oxfam GB’ digital channels and to champion UX practice across the organisation.

 

You’ll be a key contact for colleagues across Oxfam GB, providing user-experience design solutions to problems/tasks and projects as well as guidance and advice on user experience design and research.

 

You’ll need to be data driven, confident conducting research, creating sketch personas and user-journey maps, and be an authority on digital accessibility.

An ideal candidate for the role will also be / have:

 

  • Empathy for users.
  • Experience and knowledge of digital accessibility with a passion for digital inclusion.
  • Communication and collaboration with other team members.
  • Organisation and prioritisation of project tasks and responsibilities.
  • Ability to think critically about user needs.
  • Ability to perform user research and analyse results.
  • Wireframing and prototyping skills.
  • Capable of using industry standard software such as Figma and Adobe XD.
