Education University degree (BSc. or higher) in Architecture Engineering from a recognized institution with two years of relevant professional experience. or
High School Diploma / Certificate in above fields with four years of relevant experience.
Experience
1.Work experience in construction particularly in community-based projects in challenging environments preferably with UN, International NGOs, and National NGOs. 2.Ability to use Ms Office, and Auto CAD. 3.Having experience in organizing and monitoring construction site activities, preferably engaged with shelter activities. 4.Knowledge of shelter guidelines, standards, and indicators. 5.Experience in working with IDPs and returnees. 6.Knowledge of cash-based interventions and market-based programs. 7.Ability to conduct estimation, develop bill of quantities, and perform market survey. 8.Ability to prepare status reports as required by management. 9.Knowledge of geographical information system (GIS) is an advantage. 10.Demonstrated understanding of different data collection methodologies. 11.Ability to work effectively and harmoniously in a team and in the inter-agency context with colleagues from varied cultures and professional backgrounds. 12.Demonstrated gender awareness and gender sensitivity.
