Overview of position

As part of our dedication to innovation & efficiency, we are seeking a motivated PowerApp Development Intern to join our dynamic Business Transformation & Information Technology team. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands on experience in new PowerApp development, existing PowerApp enhancement, contributing to innovative solutions that streamline business processes & enhancing enhancing your skills in the rapidly evolving field of low code application development.

Role objectives

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

PowerApp development:

  • Work closely with the Business Transformation team to design, develop & deploy PowerApps that streamline business processes.

  • Collaborate with Business Transforamtion team to gather requirements & translate them into functional PowerApps.

  • Enhancement of existing PowerApps to deploy new request or improvements.

Customization & configuration:

  • Customize PowerApps using the Microsoft Power Platform to enhance functionality & user experience.

  • Configure data sources & connectors to ensure seamless integration with various systems.

Testing & debugging:

  • Conduct comprehensive testing of PowerApps to identify & address any issues or bugs.

  • Collaborate with the Business Transformation team to ensure the reliability & performance of developed applications.

Documentation:

  • Create detailed documentation for PowerApps, including design specifications, user guides & maintenance documentation.

  • Maintain accurate records of development activities, changes & updates.

Collaboration:

  • Work closely with cross functional teams to understand business processes & identify opportunities for PowerApp development.

  • Providing insights & contributing to collaborative problem solving.

Project reporting

This role reports to the Transformation Analyst.

Key competencies

Reqiured qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in computer science, information technology or a fresh graduate in a related field.

  • Basic understanding of low code application development and the Microsoft Power Platform.

  • Eagerness to learn & apply new technologies & development methodologies.

  • Strong problem solving skills & attention to detail.

  • Excellent communication & interpersonal skills.

Preferred skills:

  • Familiarity with Microsoft 365 applications & services.

  • Basic understanding of UI / UX design principles.

  • Prior exposure to PowerApps development or other low code platforms.

  • Knowledge of data integration concept.

Team management

This role has no team management responsibility.
