Location : Reading, England Job AdvertLate shift Technician – Van🌍 Rygor Auto: Reading💰 £17.50 per hour. Overtime available at time and a half. Plus, shift allowance.⏰ Mon-Fri 14:00-22:00, 30 min unpaid break.🔧 Your RoleRygor are looking for an experienced and qualified van technician to join their brilliant team at their Mercedes-Benz dealership in Reading which opened in January 2023. As a Van Technician, your role will be to keep their customers’ vehicles on the road, via quality, safe and compliant maintenance. The right candidate will be able to deliver exceptional service to the highest quality.Being part of their team is about being experts in what they do. Rygor are committed to investing in your career and skill set, so when you join their technical team, you will benefit from an annual appraisal and ongoing training.This role will be a great fit for you if:

  • You are level 3 (NVQ or City and Guilds or IMI Qualification) in LCV Vehicle Repair and maintenance qualified.
  • Current and full UK driving licence for the relevant vehicle classes
  • Ability to identify worn & faulty components following the DVSA Standards
  • Fantastic communication skills via email, telephone, and face-to-face
  • Practical experience in a workshop environment
  • Ability to use all appropriate modules of Keyloop/Kerridge
  • Good administrative knowledge
  • Complete customer documentation while working to agreed time scales
  • A brilliant team player
  • Positive attitude and flexible with workloads
  • Strong organisation and time management skills
  • Wheel alignment
  • Tyre fitting
  • Experience in carrying out diagnostic and service repairs.
