Job Description:Vending Service Engineer – Initial Vending£23048 + access to company van + bonusInitial Vending, part of Rentokil Initial, is one of the UK’s leading providers of washroom vending machines. We maintain and service over 30,000 machines across the UK!We currently have a vacancy for a Service Engineer who is based in Newcastle or surrounding areas.Our Service Engineers are fully trained to install, remove, repair and service a large number and variety of machines across a range of different customer sites, from pubs to large corporate premises.Requirements:As the Service Engineer your key responsibilities will be:

• To install, service, refill and repair vending machines at customers’ premises across the UK in an efficient and effective manner
• To drive and carry out all customer service requests in a professional and responsible manner
• To provide customer feedback and accurate site information to Initial Vending
• To work as part of the overall service delivery team to ensure all work is completed to the required standards and deadlines
• To handle, collect and count cash from vending machines
• To adhere to company Health, Safety and Environmental policies.

An ideal Service Engineer will:

• Be flexible to work hours between 05:00 and 18:00 Monday to Friday
• Hold a full UK driving licence
• Offer great communication skills both spoken and written
• Hold experience in a customer service environment
• Be able to work within a team and also on their own
• Cash-handling experience would be preferred, alongside experience handling electronic equipment.
