Vicar

We are seeking a new Vicar with the vision and energy required to lead and inspire an established team. We want St Michael’s Church to continue to form the cornerstone of a strong and supportive community, open and welcoming to all.

We would be delighted to welcome a new Vicar who will develop our strategy and help us:

• build on our roots so that together we can reach up to God with thanks and praise,

• extend our branches and reach out to share God’s love with all,

• reach into ourselves and nurture our faith in God and continue the three themes of our mission: ‘Reaching Up, Reaching Out, and Reaching In’.

Our “village at the bottom of the hill” comprises a vibrant community. Our church has a notable youth engagement with well-attended Sunday clubs and Thursday evening youth club. We embrace music in our mission and our services reflect our inclusive environment. We are not looking for a revolution, but we are open to fresh ideas that will help us build on what we have and do more with what we’ve got.
