Vice-Chancellor and President
The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) is conducting a worldwide search for the position of Vice-Chancellor and President, in succession to Professor Rocky S. Tuan. The University Council now invites applications from, and nominations of, persons with relevant qualifications and experience and are interested in being considered for this position.
The Vice-Chancellor and President is the chief academic and administrative officer of the University. The Vice-Chancellor and President is appointed by the University Council and is responsible to the Council for the leadership and management of the University, as well as engagement with the wider community. The Vice-Chancellor and President works in close collaboration with the Council and a wide range of internal and external stakeholders to provide overall leadership and direction to advance the University’s future course. The Vice-Chancellor and President will guide and drive the University’s continual pursuit of excellence in academic, education, research, and operational efforts of the University.
