Your client base will consist of predominantly Belgian, Nordic and Western European based corporate clients across various sectors and financial/infra sponsors, where you will be working on corporate style, infra-style and project finance transactions.

Due to the international scope of the assignments, the projects and the teams you will be working with, the learning experience will be large.

Opportunity

In this position, you will have a direct impact on important strategic events for our clients, such as large (re)financings, investment programmes, financial restructurings and mergers and acquisitions. Your role will be:

• Actively assist in originating capital structuring and debt- advisory deals in concertation with senior team members, relationship managers and originators from other departments;
• Involved in the coordination of – and/or the drafting of presentations/pitch books regarding integrated debt, equity and risk mitigation solutions;
• Coordinating the origination as well as execution of- and/or the origination and execution of debt advisory and/or multi-product (event-driven) financing processes; including:
  • capital structuring analyses and bankability studies;
  • overall project management;
  • preparation of marketing materials including teasers and information memoranda;
  • coordination with external advisors including due diligence providers and legal counsels;
  • dataroom and Q&A management;
  • assisting in negotiation of credit and loan documentation with prospective (bank and institutional) lenders;
  • Coordination of – and/or the preparation of financial models (event-driven and/or project finance);
  • Preparing (implied) credit ratings profiles and industry peer group analysis;
  • Assist our lending colleagues, if applicable, in the credit analysis and preparation of credit application documentation.
• Coordinating the interaction between product experts when implementing multi-product financing solution to our corporate clients.

Having had 5-8 years prior experience in a transaction-based environment has enabled you to gain expertise (directly or indirectly) in data analysis, financial modelling, capital structuring, loan market execution and/or debt advisory.

Experience, a background or genuine interest in Debt Advisory, Commercial Banking, Corporate lending, Acquisition Finance, Loan syndicate, Debt Capital markets, Equity Capital Markets, Financial Markets, Transaction Services, Private Equity or Corporate Finance could be a +.
