Delaware County Community College (DCCC) located outside of the
Philadelphia Metro area, is looking for a dynamic Vice
President for Institutional Advancement to join our
leadership team of higher education professionals who are committed

The Vice President for Institutional Advancement
(VPIA) will serve as a member of the President’s
Cabinet and is responsible for designing and implementing
comprehensive institutional advancement programs, including annual
fund; corporate and foundation relations; major gifts and gift
planning; endowment; capital campaign, and alumni and constituent
relations efforts. The major functions of this critical
position include but are not limited to; fundraising from all
private and public sources; leading initiatives with alumni
programs; and coordinating annual giving as the Executive Director
of the Delaware County Community College (DCCC) Education
Foundation.
The VPIA provides overall leadership, management, and
coordination of DCCC’s fund-raising and alumni relations programs,
and will be responsible for leading an integrated program of
external relations and institutional advancement.
Essential Functions (Including, but not limited
to):
and ensures the effective functioning of the Foundation’s board and
committees.
the strategic goals and objectives of the Institutional Advancement
division, as well as the overall College.
phases of qualifications.
strengthen the financial resources of the College.
advancement and campaign activities.
accountability and goal-oriented outcomes.
public and private sources.
practices in annual, major, capital, and planned gift programs to
meet fundraising goals.
program of identification and cultivation of potential individual,
corporate, and institutional donors.
College and other organizations, including area school districts,
businesses, other higher educational institutions, and community
organizations.
an annual giving campaign.
institutional perspective and understanding of the College’s
mission, goals, and objectives.
activities, including submission of proposals, monitoring progress,
and overseeing all reporting.
and grants initiatives.
keeps the College visible among other community colleges.
Education and Experience:
minimum of five (5) years of experience in Advancement, preferably
in higher education.
in development activities, preferably in an institution of higher
education, including three (3) years of supervisory
experience.
strongly preferred.
Background Clearances: Act 153 Clearances
(Act 34 PA Criminal Background History, Act 151 PA Child Abuse
History, Act 114 FBI Clearance); Verification of educational
credentials
