Job description:

This position will support Radisson Hotel Group to accomplish its objectives by bringing a systematic and disciplined approach to evaluate and improve the effectiveness of risk management, control and governance processes including fraud prevention in accordance with instructions from the Audit Committee.

The role is responsible for improving the quality, the exhaustiveness and the reliability of operational and financial information reported. Planning and executing various financial, compliance and operational audits are important in accordance with accepted professional standards in order to determine compliance with internal policies and procedures and adherence to applicable financial/accounting laws and regulations (i.e. IAS/IFRS).

KEY ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for the Internal Audits/Peer Reviews of Leased Hotels/Admin Units and Managed Hotels. Both operational and financial audits;
  • Organization of the internal audit function including the preparation of an audit plan in alignment with the Audit Committee;
  • Decide scope, coverage, budget with the external auditors and the audit committee for internal audits;
  • Reporting to the Audit Committee & Group CFO including preparation of control measures and summaries of internal control procedures in place and result of internal audits.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Experience in internal audit of a multinational company is a plus;
  • 10 years of experience in big 4 firms;
  • Knowledge of audit processes and techniques;
  • Good knowledge of accounting & auditing;
  • Excellent English written & verbal;
  • Organized & effective – take a well-ordered, structured approached in task management;
  • Strong influencing and communication skills;
  • Critical thinker – ability understand the logical connections between ideas, identify, construct and evaluate arguments;
  • Think Strategically – foresee and take action to deal with problems and opportunities;
  • Change Management – be an advocate for positive change and improvements;
  • Maintains a favorable working relationship with all teams to foster and promote a cooperative and harmonious working climate which will be conducive to maximum employee morale, productivity and efficiency;
  • Business acumen ideally in the consumer business/hospitality industry (learning agility to understand business drivers).
