Vice President of Finance

Capitol Technology University, the only independent university in Maryland dedicated to engineering, computer science, information technology and management of technology, invites applications, expressions of interest and nominations of candidates in its search for the next Vice President, Finance. 

Reporting to the President, Dr. Bradford Sims, the Vice President (VP), Finance will oversee and provide strategic leadership for all financial matters at Capitol Technology University. The VP, Finance will play a key leadership role in overseeing and optimizing the financial health of the institution and is expected to provide hands on, accountable leadership to a Business Office staff of five, whose operation includes accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets, payroll, general ledger, financial reporting, cash management, federal grant accounting, contract management, and federal/state reporting. The VP, Finance is an important leadership position which supports the university’s focus of providing high quality industry in demand career focused education.
