Job description

– Oversee the planning, production, the deadlines & following the studio’s guidelines from concept through to delivery.

– Lead a team of directors, video editors & scriptwriters to guarantee the workflow, documentation, and quality standards are being upheld.

– Ability to manage multiple, concurrent priorities.

– Identify any issues and resolve them in a timely manner.

– Monitor budget and production calendar.

– Oversee the social media content strategy.

– Managing researchers to identify story ideas or topics relevant to target audiences.

– Work in a fast-paced environment where goals must be reached within tight deadlines.

Ideal candidate has

Excellent analytical abilities and leadership qualities.

Strong understanding of storytelling

Understands strategic programming: considering content scheduling, social media platform and audience etc.

Communication, teamwork & leadership skills

Knowledge & interest in trending stories, follows new trends on major social media platforms.

Familiarity with digital technology and editing software packages is an asset

Professional qualifications

Bachelor’s diploma and above of related domain

A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role

Professional experiences with Chinese VR and film production are an asset

Communication in French or English is required, able to speak Chinese is an asset
