Main purpose of job: To organise meetings and manage the Ambassador’s diary. Lead on supporting visitors and delegations to the Embassy and organising events and receptions. Manage the administration of the UK’s Chevening Scholarship Programme for Djibouti. Support any other aspect of the Embassy’s work as and when required. |

- Experience of diary management or secretarial work
- Proficient use of IT, including Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- University (Bachelor’s) degree
- Excellent and proven organisational skills
- Attention to detail – in written work and when organising events/meetings
- Ability to work effectively under tight deadlines
- Resourcefulness in solving problems
- Superior professionalism and judgement
- Strong work ethic
- Ability and willingness to work effectively with other staff members as part of a team; respecting others, supporting them and taking on the work of other staff when they are on leave.
Level of language skills required: Fluency in English and French– speaking, listening, reading and writing
