Main purpose of job:
Reporting to the Corporate Services Team in Canberra, this role is responsible for ensuring the smooth running of the Perth Consulate General’s office, as well as, being the first point of contact for resolution of local issues that fall under the corporate services remit in the British High Commission or British Consulate Generals.
The job holder will be responsible for providing high quality Corporate Services delivery across Australia Network. The jobholder require strong (written and verbal) communication and prioritisation skills, with agility in operating under ambiguity.
The job holder will also be providing support to the Lead IT Support Officer (ITSO) and assist in delivering operational and strategic ICT tasks in accordance with London IDD ensuring compliance, business resilience and business continuity, as well as regular systems, hardware maintenance, and repairs.

This role advertised is a Full-Time, Fixed-Term role of 12 months to be based in Perth.
Salary is at AU$ 75,540 per annum (paid out monthly), plus 11% superannuation.
Appointment is subject to an AFP records check and UK security clearance.
Open to Australian citizens, permanent residents, and partners/ dependents of UK-based diplomatic staff currently posted in Australia.

Working patterns:
Full time employment (38 hrs), with occasional out of working hours events and travel.
