Main purpose of job:
The British Embassy in Abidjan is part of the worldwide UK diplomatic network representing British political, economic, development, and consular interests overseas.
We are looking to recruit a dynamic, collaborative individual as our Communications Intern. Working closely with the Second Secretary Sustainable Growth, the Deputy Head of Mission, and the Ambassador, this role aims to strengthen positive UK-Côte d’Ivoire bilateral relations and raise the profile of the Embassy’s work at local and national levels. The successful candidate will have: strong drafting, team-working and communication skills; a creative and proactive mindset; and the ability to plan and work well independently. The responsibility lies on the successful candidate to:

2.Pay the fees for the permit
3.Make arrangements to relocate
4.Meet the costs to relocation - Employees who are not liable to pay local income tax on their Mission salary may have their salaries reduced by the equivalent local income tax amount.
