Main purpose of job: The Estates Manager is a very important role in the effective management of the British High Commission office and the residences it uses to accommodate UK based staff. It is important that the post holder provides strong leadership to the Estates Officer and the maintenance team, and equally strong support to the Head of Operations Delivery in the management of the Estate and in accounting for expenditure incurred in its running.

- The British High Commission does not sponsor visas/work permits except where it may be local practice to do so.
- Employees who are not liable to pay local income tax on their Mission salary may have their salaries reduced by the equivalent local income tax amount.

- Reference checking and security clearances will be conducted on successful candidates.
