The British Embassy in Hungary is part of a world-wide network, representing British political, economic and consular interests overseas. It is now seeking a Global Facilities Management Performance Manager who will be responsible for the maintenance and development of Performance Business Intelligence (BI) enabling the effective management of the Facilities Management (FM) contracts and proactively analysing trends to maintain a high level of service delivery. The Global FM Performance Manager will also lead on the Performance Meetings with Posts, Regional Contract Managers and the supplier (JLL) on a regular basis. This role will include monitoring Overseas Estates Department (OED) performance data and processes, assess trends and reporting on FM Supplier performance in conjunction with the respective OED Operational colleagues. As the Global FM Performance Manager you will support the Head of Commercial and Finance and Regional Contract Managers (RCMs) in delivering high quality stakeholder communications based on the Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) of the contract, as well as monitoring the quality-of-service delivery by OED colleagues and Service Providers. You will provide advice and guidance to ensure consistency of delivery across the contracts. You will be responsible for the ongoing development of KPIs for all contracts, ensuring contractual requirements are met and that the Balance Score Card Process across Europe and Asia Pacific are as aligned as possible. Key stakeholders are OED colleagues, the Facilities Management (FM) Director as well other key senior stakeholders within FCDO and across other UK government departments. The Global FM Performance Manager role is central to much of what happens within OED and as such you will be involved in a wide range of activities on a daily basis and will be joining a friendly & experienced FM team with access to internal and external training opportunities to hone your skills. You will also at times represent and provide support to the Head of Finance and Commercial – Overseas Estates who is the Line Manager for this role. This opportunity is for a full-time, fixed-term contract of 24 months, with the possibility of renewal, of 35 hours net per week, from Monday to Friday.
The gross salary for this position is HUF 1,476,482 gross per month payable 12 times per year.
This is a regional role which is open to candidates who have the right to live and work in either Poland or Hungary. The incumbent will be required to travel to various Posts across Europe.
Learning & Development:

- The successful candidate will be expected to get up to speed rapidly with the UK Government approach to communications, through completion of online and in-person courses.
- They will also receive technical training, for example on publishing content to UK government websites.
- Candidates who secure a role that is considered specialist/technical, may be required to affiliate to the relevant specialist network, if not already a member.
- The British Embassy Budapest offers a wide range of other development opportunities, including shadowing other teams, mentoring and interactive Learning and Development sessions, as supported by the wider FCDO training offer.
