Main Purpose of Job:
This is a unique entry-level opportunity to support staff and operations as a Protocol and Human Resources (HR) Administrative Support Officer at the British Consulate-General (BCG) in Hong Kong.
The core focus of this role is Protocol and HR however the jobholder will also have the opportunity to provide administrative support across other portfolios in the Corporate Services Team (CST).
The CST is a small but dedicated team of 8 officers who provide corporate services (finance, procurement, human resources, protocol, IT) to circa. 100 staff in the BCG. The jobholder reports to the Corporate Services Manager (HR) and plays a key role in managing protocol and logistics activity as well as providing support on human resources, learning & development (L&D) and procurement.
We are looking for a highly motivated individual with strong interpersonal skills, a can-do attitude, and great attention to detail. Candidates with some Protocol/ HR administrative experience and/or relevant HR qualifications would be desirable, but fresh graduates with transferable internship experience are also encouraged to apply.
