Main purpose of job:
To provide effective support, assistance and guidance to the team of NCA Liaison Officers in their daily operation and administrative work of the National Crime Agency (NCA) Liaison Office in New Delhi.
The NCA New Delhi Team, currently comprised of two International Liaison Officers (ILOs), with responsibility for India, Bangladesh, Nepal, Bhutan, Sri Lanka and the Maldives. They work closely with a range of Indian and regional Law Enforcement Partners on serious and organised matters affecting the UK, its citizens and its interests. This includes, but is not limited to, the following crime threats: drugs trafficking, firearms trafficking, money laundering, cybercrime, bribery and corruption, modern slavery and human trafficking, child sexual exploitation and abuse and organised immigration crime.
The main purpose of Assistant to the UK NCA is supporting and assisting the ILOs in achieving their objectives as set by the NCA and in maintaining and strengthening their relationships with host agencies

The basic pay of INR 75,359 topped up with additional allowances:

Additionally, the BHC offers a great benefits package that includes annual domiciliary medical cover, plus a Group Hospitalisation Scheme with INR 500,000 floater cover for your immediate family which includes self, spouse/partner and children up to an age of 23 years and irrespective of age, only if with, physical or mental disability.

Please note – Provident Fund Transfer in and out from EPFO is not possible as BHC PF is managed by a private PF trust governed by Indian Income Tax Act, 1961. The staff still has the option to transfer out and in from a privately held PF trust which are not governed by EPFO.
No relocation or any other related costs or assistance will be provided.
Please note – BHC does not deduct tax at source and employees are required to ensure that any requirements of local income-tax law are complied with in full. Employees who are not liable to pay local income tax on their Mission salary, e.g., some non-local national staff and some spouses or partners of UK diplomatic staff, will have their salaries abated by an equivalent amount.

*OCI card holders: Possession of an OCI card does not automatically convey permission to work in India. A separate work permit must be obtained from the Government of India which is currently subject to indefinite timescales. Therefore, if you are an OCI card holder you must already hold the right to work in India at the time of application. We are unable to support candidates in obtaining permission to work.

Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) card holders will need have, or be able to obtain, a valid special work permit issued from Government of India (GOI) to work in the British High Commission (BHC). BHC will not be able to sponsor work visas or obtain/ assist with the special work permit from GOI. Offers of employment made to OCI card holders will be conditional upon candidates obtaining a special work permit.
