British Embassy Jakarta (which covers both Indonesia and Timor-Leste) is a dynamic and high performing office, using all resources to strengthen UK long-term relationship with Indonesia, a strategically important middle-ground power, and with Timor Leste, an ASEAN aspirant nation. For both countries, the UK’s aim is to improve the effectiveness, inclusiveness and resilience of health systems; support global health security positions; and enhance health sector research, collaboration and trade.
