Main purpose of job:
To provide support to the Project Manager for the planning, organisation and coordination of the King’s Birthday Party which is our annual flagship event.
Roles and responsibilities / what will the jobholder be expected to achieve?:
- Collate guestlist from different sections and teams in the High Commission, manage the master guestlist including identifying potential duplication, and updating contact details etc.
- Manage the process of issuing “Save The Date” as well as the actual invitation including looking into the use of an appropriate RSVP platform.
- Send reminders and follow-up, collate RSVP and update the master guestlist.
- Assist in minutes-taking at project meetings, preparation of correspondence, thank-you letters etc.
- Assist in coordinating event logistics, including making arrangement for transport, delivery of event event collaterals etc.
- Assist in guest registration and other duties during the event.
