You will part of the small regional SOCnet team who co-ordinate the policy and programmatic response to serious organised crime across 11 countries. The role will entail designing , delivering and evaluating, diplomatic, operational and judicial initiatives to drive legislative change in support of non conviction based cash seizures. This role would primarily be to drive the programme of legislative change in Romania but will also involve supporting the team at the British Embassy Budapest with occasional travel to Hungary. London ,and other countries in the region. The British Embassy in Bucharest is a small, friendly and close knit community. We come from a broad range of backgrounds with staff from both the UK and Romania. We work across a broad number of specialist areas and see this as a community rather than just a place to work. How we do things here matters just as much as what we do. Our diversity of culture, background and thought is our strength and we embedded our values of Respect, Empowerment, Excellence, Collaboration and Curiosity in everything we do.
