The British Embassy in Panama is looking for a proactive and enthusiastic person to join HM Revenue & Customs (HMRC) Fiscal Crime Liaison Network (FCLN) as the Liaison Support Officer for the Panama City Office.
HMRC is the UK’s tax, payments and customs authority: we collect the money that pays for the UK’s public services by helping the honest majority to get their tax right and making it hard for the dishonest minority to cheat the system. The FCLN is the international arm of HMRC’s work to tackle the dishonest minority. The FCLN posts Fiscal Crime Liaison Officers (FCLOs) overseas to work closely with international partners to reduce the threat to the UK from fiscal crimes such as offshore tax evasion, tobacco smuggling and money laundering.
