Main purpose of job: Official Driver is an exciting role that supports strengthening the UK – Philippines partnership by providing official transport to FCDO staff to and from official appointments. Working closely with the Transport Manager and other drivers to provide safe and reliable transport, the Official Driver plays an important role in ensuring that we are able to deliver a range of objectives for His Majesty’s Government (HMG). Other responsibilities include vehicle maintenance, route planning and ad hoc support, as directed by the Transport Manager. No accommodation or relocation expenses are payable in connection with this position. Employees who are not liable to pay local income tax on their Mission salary may have their salaries reduced by the equivalent local income tax amount.
