Main Purpose of Job:
This is a unique opportunity to work at the heart of the British Embassy with a dynamic programme of bilateral and regional activity. You will be a key member of the small team working closely for the Ambassador, her Chief of Staff and the Deputy Head of Mission to deliver on the UK’s objectives. Roles and responsibilities/what will the jobholder be expected to achieve:
- Provide word processing and secretarial support to the Private Office team
- Dealing with a range of straightforward day-to-day enquiries from internal and external stakeholders
- Maintaining a contacts database
- Taking down minutes of weekly and monthly committee meetings
- Coordinate on transport scheduling and act as main point of contact in booking drivers’ daily schedule
- Assist in management of Embassy wide events.
