The British Embassy in Vilnius is looking for a Regional Procurement Lead for the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office’s Europe, Eastern Europe and Central Asia Directorates. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing regional procurement activity for a specific group of British Embassies and Consulates within the region, delivering procurement solutions which meet customer requirements and achieving value for money in accordance with UK regulations.

Essential on arrival: |
- University Degree or equivalent in Procurement, Supply Chain, Business, Economics, Finances or similar;
- Minimum 2 years relevant experience of sourcing or buying Goods, Services and Works;
- Good knowledge of the best practice procurement and supplier management techniques;
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills;
- Ability to deal with competing priorities;
- Flexibility, willingness and ability to adapt to change;
- Excellent oral and written English skills (C level);
- Excellent working knowledge of MS Office.

This is a full-time, permanent contract, of 35 net hours per week.
The start date for the position is as soon as possible, subject to the availability of the candidate and the length of the recruitment process.
We offer:
- A base salary EUR 2949 (gross) and, in addition and sports allowance that is paid on top of the base salary.

- 35-hour working week with a focus on work-life balance. Please note that while we offer some homeworking, this is primarily an office-based job.
- 22 annual leave days + 14 public holidays.

Visa/work permit requirements: Candidates must currently hold the independent right to live and work in Lithuania and be prepared to ensure that right remains throughout the scope of the contract.
