Residence Coordinator
Main purpose of the job:
To work on day-to-day events held at the Residence and to be working with other Residence staffs to ensure that the Residence is run efficiently and in accordance with the type of event held at the Residence.
To work as a team and with other members at the Embassy, to ensure that duties are shared in the best way to deliverance excellent services.

There are no direct line management responsibilities but responsible for working closely with other residence team members and contractors and extra waiters.

Learning and development opportunities:
The British Embassy is committed to investing in L&D for its staff, and provides a range of L&D opportunities, from learning sets to speaker events, group learning to job shadowing opportunities, as well as an extensive suite of online learning materials. Where job-specific training is identified the British Embassy will provide access to appropriate courses.
Working patterns:
Normal working hours are Monday to Friday, 09:00-17:15 (17:00 on Fridays). However, occasional evening and weekend working may be required, for which time off in lieu is given. The British Embassy encourages flexible working and is open to a range of flexible working options subject to the operational effectiveness of the embassy.
Other information:
Accommodation will be provided when working later or out of office hours. Employment offers are subject to successful clearance of pre-employment checks. All candidates must be legally able to work and reside in the country of the vacancy with the correct visa/work permit status or demonstrate eligibility to obtain the relevant permit. Any costs related to obtaining or renewing permits and visas are the responsibility of the successful applicant. Staff who are recruited by the British Embassy Seoul are subject to Terms and Conditions of Service according to local employment law.
