Position Description: The Department of Political Science at Tulane University invites applications for a one-year position at the rank of Visiting Assistant Professor to begin in the fall 2024 semester in international politics. The Visiting Assistant Professor is a full-time, non-tenure track, teaching appointment. The teaching load is three courses per semester. The successful candidate will be able to teach introduction to international relations as well as upper-level classes in transnational issues, such as (but not exclusive to) environmental politics, migration, and conflict. The position has the possibility of renewal for a second and third year.
Qualifications
A PhD is preferred; ABD is required by July 1, 2024
